I. overall personality |Nasira is excessively vengeful and devious, and will do whatever it takes to achieve her diabolical objectives. Motivated by power, by authority and by the desire for status, Nasira, if wronged, will seek equal retaliation or compensation in lieu of an apology, a severely misguided attempt to transform shame into pride. Most of Nasira's strategies for revenge ultimately fail because she's really attempting to change the past. She does not realize that once the damage is done, the clock cannot be turned back, and the loss is permanent.Nasira can be domineering and draconian as a byproduct of her upbringing as nobility and detested working with people she believed were inferior because the inept can hold her and more capable subjects back. However, even though Nasira is not the most politically correct, she does judge people based on what they can do as opposed to where their roots lie - most of the time. Continuously living in her brother's shadow and being relentlessly pursued by Aladdin gave Nasira a great empathy for the downtrodden, but her pent-up frustration from years of being dominated by others also made Nasira capable of being callously unforgiving to those who cross her.
Despite her evil ways, Nasira is fiercely loyal to her friends and family, and will do anything to keep them out of harm's way.II. strengths |

Sol [Friend]II. overall history |Nasira relocated to Agrabah from a past she declined to divulge twenty years, give or take, before Gazeem gave Jafar the second half of a gold scarab beetle trinket. Jafar had undeviatingly worked his way up to grand vizier of the sultan's court, and Nasira, an aloof closet necromancer, was the token female of the divan - the privy council of Agrabah. In the middle of a long "business" trip in the Land of the Black Sand, a street rat named Aladdin murdered Jafar.
Nasira wanted to resurrect her brother, but she needed four magical artifacts to generate a spell powerful enough to bring him back. She also wanted revenge on Aladdin. In one night she single-handedly took over Agrabah, "disposed" of Princess Jasmine and the Sultan, and put a price on Aladdin's head.
Aladdin confronted Nasira in the throne room the next day and demanded to know the whereabouts of Princess Jasmine and the Sultan, but Nasira tossed him in the dungeon and sent Genie back to the Cave of Wonders. Abu released Aladdin, and and they escaped to the Oasis.
There, they met a mystic (Nasira in disguise). The mystic told Aladdin where to find Genie and Princess Jasmine. Once Aladdin freed Genie, Jasmine and the Sultan, the mystic reappeared and revealed her true identity. Nasira easily overpowered Aladdin and made off with the artifacts he collected after defeating his friends' captors. However, Aladdin was not so easily deterred. He tracked Nasira back to her hideout and destroyed the four artifacts. Jafar died again.
Aladdin then ordered Nasira to release Agrabah from her hold, but Nasira refused. They fought. Aladdin gave it his all, but Nasira, despite having no hand-to-hand combat skills, defeated Aladdin by means of sorcery. Before she could avenge her brother, Genie whisked Aladdin away. Knowing it was only a matter of time before Aladdin attempted to take back his kingdom again, Nasira returned to Agrabah and began to build an army.III. sample postFor a split second, Nasira discerned a familiar vibe from Clopin's aura. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me," she deadpanned. She knew more about what lay beyond the realm of the living than most, and it did not take long for her to figure out that they were not alone. Somebody or something was "aiding" the master of tomfoolery. It was too early to identify what had Clopin ensnared, but she knew it was something that belonged in the ground or even the Netherworld.
What did you do, Clopin?
Clopin grasped the shoulder Nasira scraped earlier. "Why, Nasira, whatever do you mean?" he asked coyly. "I haven't changed at all."
"Quit running your mouth, you blockhead. Tell it to me straight."
But he was not so easily deterred. "I’m still the same gypsy king you’ve always fought against! Nothing has changed!”
Still, Nasira was not buying it. "Uh huh. Yeah, sure you are."
Clopin bent backwards to look up at Nasira upside down. She inclined her head. Then again... Did she imagine that vibe? He seemed more or less himself.
“Ah Nasira, mon ami.” The half-possessed gypsy king took a step toward her. Nasira uncrossed her arms.
“Perhaps you’ve forgotten that justice is...swift!”
Clopin's scythe reappeared. This time, Nasira had no time to react. In one fell swoop, the scythe struck her full on. Her back hit the trunk of a quiver tree as the point of the enchanted blade wedged itself between her wind pipe, right lung and spinal cord. Clopin yanked it out, and Nasira fell on her side. Was the battle already over?
"It must have slipped my mind," Nasira insolently quipped as soon as the pain subsided. She rolled onto her back. She was not particularly distressed over her injury. It hurt, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. Being on Maleficent's good side sure had its perks. Well, aside the whole "dead brother" snafu.
"Okay, you got me, Clopin," Nasira conceded. "You won. Now run along."
