Pride Rock A strategically advantageous location, Pride Rock is the perfect home for a monarch, as it provides a clear view of the Pride Lands, including its bordering territories, the Elephant Graveyard and the Outlands. The monarchs can use the summit to keep an eye on the kingdom, while they utilize the peak to conduct official business and ceremony, and the inner caves to house their family and pride. The Lair of the Lion Guard is located at the base.

Grasslands The Grasslands stretch out in all directions from Pride Rock to the edge of the Outlands. Subregions include Mount Kilimanjaro, Chakula Plains, Ukuni Woods, Ndefu Grove, Mizuno Grove, Zuberi River, Lake Matope, Lake Kaziwa, Mapema Rock, Hakuna Matata Falls and Big Springs.

Wildebeest Valley Wildebeest Valley is a dry, humid canyon found within the confinements of the Pride Lands with cliffs off to the side. There is little vegetation there due to the heat and barren soil. A herd of wildebeests graze above one end of the gorge.
