Subject to change at any time. 

I. Don't be a dick.
Be nice to other members, and respect their opinions. Do not discriminate or display discriminatory actions or behavior on the basis of gender, race, color, ethnicity, disability, political affiliation, religion or sexual orientation.

II. Do not plagiarize.
Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated.

III. Do not promote illegal activities.
Do not encourage any illegal activity including but not limited to, illegal drug use, hacking, cracking or distribution of counterfeit/pirated software.

IV. English Only.
I apologize for the inconvenience. 

V. Forum Image & Signature Size Limits
Use common sense. I do not want to enforce a size limit for images or signatures, but I will if I have to.

I. Players are allowed up to seven characters.
Each character requires their own account. If you feel you can handle more than seven characters, you may apply for an extra character slot.

II. Do not reply to any IC threads until your application has been accepted.
There is the possibility that your application may not be accepted for whatever reason.

III. Do not pester the admins to look at your application.
Admins typically discuss applications as a group before accepting them, and some applications may take longer to review than others. Be patient. We will contact you as soon as possible. 

I. Learn to spell and use proper grammar.
You are how you appear in your writing. This is a literate/intermediate, 3rd person roleplay in PAST TENSE. That means no one-liners, abbreviations or chatspeak. Present tense is not allowed. We expect proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Please put time and effort into your writing. Posts that do not abide by the rules will be deleted.

II. Do not godmod, powerplay or metaplay.
It's rude, and it screws up plans the other player might have for their character. If you do not know what godmodding is, do a quick Google search.

III. Do not assume relationships.
Your character is not the long lost sibling of a canon character who has for all intents and purposes been described as an only child or the ex-lover of a character who for some reason neglected to mention to the person they're currently with. Again, use common sense. Since this is an AU, some backstories may be altered in a way to allow relationships that normally wouldn't pass in a more canon setting, but a good rule of thumb is to ask before establishing anything.

IV. For sexually explicit content, fade to black or go nuts via pm.
Soccer moms. That is all. 

V. Swearing is allowed, but keep it in moderation.
Swearing is an emotional and creative language that can really convey the intensity of a moment - but only in moderation. Dropping the F-bomb every other sentence does not make your character edgy or badass. Unless you're roleplaying a teen trying waaay too hard to impress the popular kids, don't do it. The more often someone swears, the less effective it is.

VI. Activity and Inactivity.
Players who want to keep their characters must respond to monthly activity checks - with the exception of slow months. Hey, we understand holidays are a thing!

Inactivity means that, without notification (such as posting in the Disappearances board, for example), you have not posted in a month. Regular activity is highly encouraged, especially if your character is in a thread that is part of a site plot. There will occasionally be activity checks where we will list inactive characters. To be removed from this list, reply to it by the end of the week. Any inactive character who isn't spoken for will be dropped. We'll will put out notifications when activity checks happen. So remember, if you're busy, generally museless, or will be absent a while, just let us know in the disappearances board.

I. Canon and OC's are allowed.
Canon Disney and Dreamworks characters are welcome, as long as they are a part of the animated features, SOME Disney TV shows, or Pixar. There will be absolutely NO CHARACTERS from the following:

• Inside Out
• Saludos Amigos
• The Three Caballeros
• Make Mine Music
• Fun And Fancy Free
• Melody Time
• The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
• James and the Giant Peach
• Doug's 1st Movie
• Recess
• Wreck-it-Ralph
• Kingdom Hearts
• Studio Ghibli

As for OC's, please be sensible when applying for one. No Mary Sues/Gary Stus will be accepted. If you plan on making an OC, please try to make them fit into this universe as best you can. 

II. Characters can die.
Threads, ESPECIALLY battle threads, will be ranked according to how dangerous interactions can go. If your character is in a high-risk thread, don't throw a human with no defenses against a dragon. They will die. Please use common sense when it comes to battle.

III. Characters can be dropped.
If you wish to drop a character, please post in the dropped character thread, located under the character registry. However, if said character is in the middle of a plot, please be courteous to your fellow roleplay partners and inform them that you will be dropping that character. No one likes to have plots dropped mid-plot.
